La Boca do Black Swan

Oh, how I love Natalie Portman.

She’s my lady crush. Most girls have lady crushes. For me, Alexa Chung, Natalie and Penelope are my faves. They’re just so, lovely.

But aside from her being my lady crush, Natalie’s latest performance in Black Swan is truly awesome. Sometimes a little to real and disturbing to watch. But what else would one expect from Darren Aronofsky, director behind Requiem for a Dream.

I’m getting off track – English design creatives La Boca, have taken us back to the golden age of movie posters with these four stunning prints capturing the beauty, darkness and despair of Black Swan.

With hints of Heinz Schulz-Neudamm’s Metropolis, 70’s graphic design and a touch of art deco, it’s a shame the La Boca teaser series wasn’t used in promotion , adorning Melbourne’s city streets.
– made my day.
(A shout out to Booooooom who covered this on they’re blog).
